
Temasek Polytechnic has signed an MOU with Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Academy to enhance collaboration in aviation education and training
Temasek Polytechnic has formalised a partnership with the Civil Aviation Academy (CAA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Askar Kuttykadam, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Singapore, marking a significant step in strengthening academic and professional cooperation in the aviation sector.

The agreement aims to foster collaboration in key areas such as aviation management and aerospace engineering. It will facilitate student and faculty exchanges, providing opportunities for cultural immersion and professional growth. Additionally, the partnership supports the sharing of academic resources, including research findings and course materials, to enhance the quality of education at both institutions. Joint research initiatives will also be developed, combining expertise to drive innovation in the global aviation industry.
Following the signing, a delegation from CAA, led by Chairman of the Board-Rector Mr Beken K. Seidakhmetov, toured Temasek Engineering School’s advanced facilities. The visit included key research centres such as the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, the Robotics and Automation Centre, the Aviation Research Centre, and the TP-Lufthansa Technical Training Centre.


This collaboration is expected to create new learning opportunities and strengthen academic ties between Singapore and Kazakhstan, contributing to advancements in aviation education and industry development.
