Singapore, 7 February 2025 – Her Excellency Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, delivered a lecture titled “Thailand-Singapore Bilateral Relations: Celebrating 60 Years of Diplomatic Relations in 2025” to students of the Master in International Affairs Programme at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

During her lecture, Ambassador Ureerat explored the robust and multifaceted relationship between Thailand and Singapore, highlighting cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, and cultural exchange. She emphasized the shared commitment of both nations to regional stability and prosperity.

The Ambassador also engaged with students on topics including ASEAN’s role in regional development, current geopolitical conflicts, and the importance of multilateral collaboration in addressing global challenges.

This lecture was part of the Ambassador Circle series, an initiative that invites diplomats in Singapore to share their experiences and insights with the LKY School community. The session provided students with a deeper understanding of diplomacy, regional cooperation, and the complexities of international relations.
