22nd Meeting in Penang Focuses on Kuala Lumpur Declaration and Strategic Plans

The 22nd Meeting of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) commenced today in Penang, Malaysia. Co-chaired by Malaysia and the Philippines, the meeting gathered High-Level Representatives to further refine the draft Kuala Lumpur Declaration, which will outline ASEAN’s Community Vision beyond 2025 and its strategic plans.

The discussions aim to shape the future direction of ASEAN, ensuring that the regional bloc remains resilient and adaptable amid global and regional challenges. The draft Kuala Lumpur Declaration is expected to focus on economic integration, digital transformation, sustainability, and regional security cooperation.
