
India’s Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, and his delegation visited PSA’s Tuas Port in Singapore to explore its advanced operations and automation capabilities
India’s Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, led a delegation on a visit to PSA’s Tuas Port in Singapore. The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain insights into the port’s cutting-edge operations and automation systems.

The delegation was welcomed by PSA India’s Managing Director, Gobu Selliaya, along with the PSA Middle East South Asia regional team. They were briefed on Tuas Port’s strategic role in global trade and its contribution to strengthening Singapore’s position as a leading transhipment hub.
During the visit, the delegation explored Tuas Port’s advanced infrastructure, which is designed to handle the increasing demands of international trade. As one of the most technologically advanced ports in the world, Tuas integrates automation and smart logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and connectivity.


PSA also highlighted its footprint in India, which includes deepsea terminals in Mumbai and Chennai, container freight stations in Navi Mumbai and Mundra under PSA Ameya, and PSA BDP India offices. These facilities play a key role in strengthening trade links between India and global markets.
The visit reinforced the strong maritime collaboration between India and Singapore, fostering discussions on port management, logistics innovation, and future partnerships.
