Michelin-starred restaurant Odette partners with the Gallery to offer a special four-course lunch inspired by its landmark exhibition on Asian artists in Paris.

National Gallery Singapore has partnered with Odette, the acclaimed three-Michelin-starred restaurant helmed by Chef-Owner Julien Royer, to offer an exclusive culinary experience in celebration of its latest major exhibition, City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris, 1920s–1940s. The collaboration brings together art and gastronomy in a distinctive four-course lunch menu that reflects the exhibition’s themes of cultural exchange and creativity.

Available Tuesdays to Thursdays until 17 July 2025, the curated menu is priced at S$298++ per person and includes a starter, fish course, main, dessert, and a complimentary ticket to the City of Others exhibition, held at the Singtel Special Exhibition Gallery, Level 3 of the National Gallery. Guests are invited to explore the stories of Asian artists who lived, worked, and exhibited in Paris during a dynamic era of modern art, through over 200 artworks and 200 archival images.

Housed within the Gallery since its opening, Odette is known for its elegant interpretation of French cuisine infused with Asian nuances. This collaboration reflects the shared spirit of the exhibition, which challenges traditional Western-centric art historical narratives by spotlighting Asian migrant artists and their contributions to the Parisian art scene between the 1920s and 1940s.

The City of Others exhibition, which runs from 2 April to 17 August 2025, showcases works by notable artists such as Foujita Tsuguharu, Georgette Chen, Lê Phổ, Sanyu, and Liu Kang, offering insights into their experiences in Paris amid broader conversations on identity, colonialism, and modernism.

Reservations for the dining experience can be made via Odette’s website. Exhibition tickets can be purchased through the National Gallery Singapore website.
