The Royal Thai Embassy Hosts “Orchids from the Land of Smiles”exhibition at Gardens by the Bay

The event celebrated 60 years of Thailand-Singapore diplomatic relations and showcased Thai cultural pride.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore organized a special event in collaboration with Gardens by the Bay, offering representatives from various Thai associations the chance to visit the “Orchids from the Land of Smiles” exhibition at the Cloud Forest.

The event was part of the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of Thailand-Singapore diplomatic relations. More than 70 individuals from the Thai community participated in the visit.

During the event, Her Excellency Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, warmly welcomed the attendees. She highlighted that the exhibition not only allowed the Thai community to take pride in their cultural heritage but also demonstrated the unity among Thais living abroad.

Additionally, the exhibition served to promote the Thai orchid industry, one of Thailand’s key exports, with Singapore being among its major importers.
