
The Forum Convened Key Digital Leaders To Showcase Innovations And Strengthen Collaboration Across Johor’s Tech Ecosystem.
Johor, Malaysia – The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) successfully held the second Malaysia Digital (MD) Tech CxO Forum in Johor, continuing its commitment to driving digital growth and ecosystem development in the region. The event was led by Ir. Wan Murdani Wan Mohamad, Head of Digital Industry Acceleration at MDEC.
The forum featured a keynote address by Tuan Haji Natazha Hariss, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Johor, who underscored the strategic importance of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) in enabling cross-border economic growth and fostering deeper digital collaboration.


Eight Malaysia Digital status companies presented their innovative solutions across sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics, providing attendees with insights into cutting-edge technologies shaping the digital economy. The event also hosted an industry roundtable, which gathered C-level executives and thought leaders from the local MD ecosystem. Discussions centred around real-world applications of AI, the development of language models, talent readiness, and platform scalability.
The forum served as a platform for public-private dialogue and reinforced MDEC’s ongoing efforts to build strong, future-ready digital capabilities. MDEC reiterated its commitment to supporting Malaysia’s digital transformation and boosting local value chains through strategic engagement with tech stakeholders.
