On 28 May 2025, the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) held its 84th Annual General Meeting at One Farrer Hotel, marking the close of its centennial year. The event reflected on SICCI’s rich history, evolution, and the collective vision shared by its members and leadership.

Chairman Neil Parekh delivered an in-depth review of the Chamber’s achievements throughout 2024, spotlighting impactful initiatives, strategic partnerships, and member-focused efforts. He emphasised SICCI’s ongoing commitment to empowering businesses through innovation, market access, and community resilience.

The AGM dinner, attended by around 80 members, provided an opportunity for networking and celebration. Among the guests was Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, who has served as SICCI’s advisor since 2022. Dr Faishal engaged warmly with members, reaffirming his strong support for SICCI’s mission.

As SICCI celebrates 100 years of service to the Indian business community, the Chamber reaffirmed its dedication to fostering growth, inclusivity, and collaboration, pledging continued support to its members in shaping the next century of opportunities.
