RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Qiddiya City has announced a global partnership with the Faldo Series, a prominent youth golf development programme. The collaboration aims to support grassroots golf both within the Kingdom and internationally. Qiddiya City will serve as a host for the Faldo Series events in Saudi Arabia, establishing it as a regional hub for youth golf.

The announcement also includes plans for a new, Sir Nick Faldo-designed 18-hole championship golf course. The course is scheduled to open to the public in 2026. Complementing the course will be a state-of-the-art clubhouse, academy, and practice facilities, all set to open in 2028.

It is nestled against the dramatic Tuwaiq Mountains.

Sir Nick Faldo commented on the project’s broader vision. “This is a unique opportunity to become involved in one of the most exciting cities being developed today,” he said. The partnership aims to fuse a new way of city life with sport, entertainment, and culture. The new golf facilities are part of Qiddiya City’s long-term goal to become a premier golf destination.
