Ceremony celebrates Singapore’s 60th National Day, recognises long-serving staff and welcomes new team members.

The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Johor Bahru held its annual Public Service Week Ceremony, which this year has been renamed the Public Service Festival in celebration of Singapore’s 60th Anniversary of Independence.

Centred around the theme “Celebrate Our Shared Journey, Create Our Shared Future”, the Festival reflects the enduring spirit of public service and the commitment of Singapore’s officers to continue striving for excellence and shaping a brighter future together.

As part of the occasion, the Consulate-General also held its Long Service Award Ceremony, recognising colleagues who have dedicated many years of loyal service — a meaningful milestone in their careers.

The event also congratulated team members on their recent promotions and extended a warm welcome to the Consulate-General’s newest colleague, Attaché Basil Kwok.
