New charter flights aim to boost tourism links between Singapore and Uzbekistan.
One of Singapore’s leading tour operators, Chan Brothers Travel, has announced plans to operate direct charter flights to Uzbekistan this December, aiming to bring hundreds of tourists from Singapore and other Asia-Pacific countries.
According to a report by a Dunyo correspondent, the nine-day itinerary will take visitors through Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Travellers will have the opportunity to discover Uzbekistan’s history, cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and remarkable architectural sites, as well as experience the traditions, customs and cuisine of the Uzbek people.
To promote these new charter flights, Chan Brothers Travel will launch a dedicated marketing campaign and organise promotional activities at tourism exhibitions in Singapore. As part of this initiative, the company plans to send famous DJs of popular Singaporean radio stations broadcasting in Chinese and Malay languages to Uzbekistan along with tourists.
This move is expected to boost tourist numbers from Singapore and strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries, enhancing Uzbekistan’s appeal as a destination for visitors from across the Asia-Pacific region.
