
Held on 28 July 2025, the Andhra Pradesh – Singapore Business Forum and CII Partnership Summit Roadshow spotlighted investment opportunities and strategic collaborations between Andhra Pradesh and Singapore.
Singapore, 28 July 2025 – The Andhra Pradesh – Singapore Business Forum & CII Partnership Summit Roadshow was successfully held at the Shangri-La Singapore, drawing senior government leaders, diplomats, and business leaders from both India and Singapore.

The event was graced by Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Shri Nara Lokesh, Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications. Also in attendance were H.E. Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, and senior representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Singapore Business Federation (SBF).
In his welcome address, Mr. G. Murali Krishna, Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh and CEO of Fluentgrid Ltd, hailed Singapore as a symbol of visionary leadership and innovation. He unveiled the CII Task Force Report for Swarna Andhra Pradesh 2047, which outlines an ambitious roadmap to position Andhra Pradesh as a US$2.4 trillion economy by 2047. The report emphasises key growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, and renewable energy.
Singapore’s Vice Chairman of the International Action Committee and SBF Chairman of USEL, Mr. Prasoonn Mukherjee, commended the Andhra Pradesh government for its pro-investment approach and seamless support to international investors. He cited real-time support received during a recent visit, demonstrating the state’s commitment to facilitating business growth.
H.E. Dr. Shilpak Ambule echoed these sentiments, highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s alignment with India-Singapore collaborative priorities such as digitalisation, skilling, sustainability, and connectivity. He urged the Singapore business community to explore Andhra Pradesh as one of India’s most investor-friendly and visionary states.

Addressing the forum, Shri Nara Lokesh presented a dynamic overview of the state’s efforts in emerging technologies, clean energy, and port infrastructure. He shared successful case studies in sectors like semiconductors, data centres, and renewable energy—emphasising Andhra Pradesh’s dedication to co-developing projects and supporting foreign stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in his keynote speech, reiterated the state’s transformation journey inspired by Singapore’s urban planning and efficiency. Reflecting on a 30-year bilateral relationship, he reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to creating a transparent, tech-driven, and sustainable growth model. His ambitious Swarna Andhra Pradesh 2047 vision aims to make the state a global leader in innovation, logistics, digital economy, and green energy.
The event also served as a curtain-raiser to the upcoming CII Partnership Summit 2025, scheduled for 14–15 November in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). Themed “Technology, Trust and Trade,” the summit will gather global leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders for dialogue and collaboration across pivotal sectors.
As both sides deepen ties, the forum reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh’s openness to global partnerships and its emergence as a preferred destination for investment and innovation in India.
