Dr Kao Kim Hourn highlights ASEAN’s strategic priorities in keynote address to regional leaders and stakeholders in Singapore
SINGAPORE — The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr Kao Kim Hourn, delivered the keynote address titled “Charting ASEAN’s Strategic Course” at the 17th ASEAN and Asia Forum, held in Singapore today.
In his speech, Dr Kao reaffirmed ASEAN’s enduring commitment to building a resilient, innovative, dynamic, and people-centred regional community. He emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation and adaptability in the face of evolving global and regional challenges.
The ASEAN and Asia Forum, held annually, is a key regional platform that convenes policymakers, corporate leaders, and thought leaders to exchange perspectives and develop practical solutions to address pressing issues in Southeast Asia and beyond.
