Immersive displays, performances and workshops bring Peranakan heritage to life on Sentosa Island.
From 23 May to 31 August 2025, Sentosa Island will host Peranakan Reimagined, a multi-sensory cultural experience celebrating the richness of Peranakan heritage through art, music, and hands-on activities. Spanning several sites, including Sentosa Sensoryscape and the Singapore Cable Car to lively spots across the island, journey through a vibrant tapestry of colour, craft and curiosity.
The event places particular emphasis on interactivity and community engagement. Guests can participate in batik-making workshops and craft sessions, allowing for a tactile encounter with traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Spanning modern experiences and historical references, Peranakan Reimagined is both educational and celebratory. The programming is designed to appeal to all ages, making it ideal for families, students, and visitors who wish to explore heritage through contemporary formats.
