Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing led approximately 1,000 personnel from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in reciting the National Pledge and singing the National Anthem during MINDEF’s National Day Observance Ceremony this morning. The event, held at MINDEF headquarters, was part of nationwide celebrations marking Singapore’s 60th anniversary.

The ceremony featured a special performance by the Music and Drama Company, which showcased this year’s theme, “We Are Singapore”.
