The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore recognised Ms. Nomita Dhar, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Sun Media Pte Ltd, for her contributions to strengthening Saudi-Singapore relations and cultural understanding.
SINGAPORE, 9 October 2025 – The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore, headed by Mr. Salem Mokhlef S Alshammary, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission, presented an award of appreciation to Ms. Nomita Dhar, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Sun Media Pte Ltd, during a ceremony held at the Embassy premises.
The recognition was given in appreciation of Sun Media’s valued support for the 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its ongoing partnership with the Embassy in promoting the Kingdom’s culture, achievements, and bilateral relations with Singapore.
Mr. Alshammary expressed gratitude for Sun Media’s professionalism and long-standing cooperation, noting that the media plays a vital role in fostering mutual understanding and friendship between nations. He commended Sun Media’s continued efforts to highlight Saudi Arabia’s progress, heritage, and global engagement through its editorial and publishing work.
Accepting the award, Ms. Nomita Dhar thanked the Embassy for the honour and reaffirmed Sun Media’s commitment to serving as a bridge for cultural and diplomatic exchange.
