Singapore, 7 November 2025 — Singapore once again proved to be a key meeting ground for international tourism as the Philippines wrapped up its participation at ITB Asia 2025 with more than ₱600 million in confirmed sales leads. The event, held at Marina Bay Sands, brought together global travel professionals and industry leaders to foster partnerships and showcase the future of tourism in the Asia-Pacific region.

Led by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, the country’s delegation featured 23 Department of Tourism (DOT)–accredited sellers, including hotels, resorts, airlines, and tour operators. Their active engagement at the exhibition underscored the Philippines’ growing prominence in the global travel market, while also reinforcing Singapore’s position as a premier venue for international tourism exchange.

TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles said that the country’s successful participation reflected “the growing demand for authentic and unique experiences that meet travel expectations.” She emphasised the importance of ITB Asia as a platform for connecting with diverse tourism players and strengthening partnerships across global markets.

Singapore’s continued hosting of ITB Asia demonstrates its enduring relevance as a strategic tourism hub where countries like the Philippines can expand their reach, attract new travellers, and build long-term business relationships. The event’s outcomes reaffirmed how regional collaboration contributes to sustainable growth and innovation in the global travel sector.
