During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the NBTC’s responsibilities as Thailand’s independent regulator for broadcasting and telecommunications. The discussion included spectrum allocation, licensing systems, competition oversight, consumer protection mechanisms, and the development of technical standards to keep pace with rapid technological change.

The dialogue also explored digital policy issues of growing importance, such as online content regulation, platform governance, cybersecurity, and the broader implications of digital transformation for consumers and businesses. The parties agreed on the need to enhance future cooperation in digital governance and communications policy to support shared national priorities.
