
Bilateral meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in arts, culture, and the creative economy.
Mrs Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, welcomed and took part in a bilateral meeting between Miss Sabeeda Thaised, Thailand’s Minister of Culture, and Mr Baey Yam Keng, Singapore’s Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the Ministry of Transport. The meeting was held to enhance cultural cooperation as both countries commemorated the 60th anniversary of Thailand–Singapore diplomatic relations.
During the discussion, both sides explored opportunities to deepen collaboration in museum and gallery exchanges, strengthen the creative economy, and advance joint initiatives under the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. The meeting highlighted the shared commitment to promoting cultural development and people-to-people ties.

While in Singapore, the Thai Minister of Culture also attended the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF), where she delivered an address in support of the Content Thailand Showcase and engaged with representatives from international creative industries.
The delegation further conducted study visits to the National Gallery Singapore and Temasek Shophouse. These visits provided insights into Singapore’s approaches to cultural space development, creative community platforms, and social innovation efforts that enhance community engagement and generate social and economic value through the arts.
