
Sun Media Pte Ltd published the India–Singapore @60 Coffee Table Book, officially launched by His Excellency Dr Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, and Mr Lennon Tan, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, to commemorate 60 years of bilateral relations
The India–Singapore @60 Coffee Table Book was officially launched on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, at the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). The launch was jointly officiated by His Excellency Dr Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, and Mr Lennon Tan, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation. The event was attended by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, His Excellency Mr Agustín García-López Loaeza, Ambassador of Mexico to Singapore, alongside representatives from embassies and high commissions, as well as leaders and delegates from the featured companies and institutions, and guests from other organisations and the wider business community.

The launch programme featured welcome and keynote remarks by Ms Nomita Dhar, Editor-in-Chief of Sun Media, His Excellency Dr Shilpak Ambule, and Mr Lennon Tan. The speakers reflected on the depth of India–Singapore relations, the importance of people-to-people ties, and the role of collaboration across diplomacy, business, education, and culture over the past six decades. The event also included video presentations highlighting the India–Singapore partnership and documenting the journey behind the creation of the coffee table book.



Published by Sun Media Pte Ltd, the India–Singapore @60 Coffee Table Book marked six decades of diplomatic relations, shared history, and the evolving partnership between India and Singapore. The publication reflected both a culmination of past achievements and a continuation of future collaboration between the two nations.




The book brought together narratives on diplomacy, innovation, art, civic life, and community, highlighting the individuals and institutions that have played a meaningful role in strengthening bilateral ties. Crafted with care and grounded in both historical and contemporary perspectives, the publication underscored the belief that stories shape legacies and that people remain at the heart of enduring partnerships.
The India–Singapore @60 Coffee Table Book featured contributions and insights from a wide range of organisations, including the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), Enterprise Singapore, Invest India, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Global Indian International School (GIIS), Indian Heritage Centre, SingHealth, Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Temasek, PSA International, Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), Radio Masti, SCC Cricket Academy, as well as cultural and community figures including Soundara Nayaki, Shabbir Hassanbhai, Chitra Shankar, and K. V. Rao.

The publication was supported by key advertisers, including SingHealth, State Bank of India (SBI), NPS International School, S P Jain School of Global Management, and Australian International School, reflecting strong institutional backing from sectors spanning healthcare, finance, and education.
