The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Singapore marked Qatar National Day with a formal ceremony highlighting national achievements and the growing bilateral relationship between Qatar and Singapore
The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Singapore hosted a ceremonial reception to commemorate Qatar National Day on 1 December 2025 at the Raffles Hotel. The event was held under the national slogan, “With you it rises, from you it awaits,” reflecting unity, resilience, and pride in the nation’s journey and accomplishments.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from the Singaporean side, led by His Excellency Dr. Syed Harun Al-Habashi, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of National Development. Also present were ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, senior economic and community figures, as well as Qatari citizens and representatives of Qatari institutions operating in Singapore.
Official speeches delivered during the event extended congratulations to the State of Qatar on its National Day, while highlighting the country’s notable achievements on the international stage. Speakers reflected on Qatar’s progress across political, economic, and social spheres, underscoring its growing global presence and contributions.

Particular emphasis was placed on the strength and continued development of bilateral relations between Qatar and Singapore. The Singaporean side expressed appreciation for the close and constructive ties shared by both countries, noting opportunities for deeper cooperation across various fields.
The ceremony concluded with the playing of the national anthems of the Republic of Singapore and the State of Qatar, bringing the evening to a dignified close and reaffirming the spirit of friendship and mutual respect between the two nations.
