The Philippine Pavilion officially opened at the Singapore Airshow 2026 on 3 February 2026, marking a significant milestone in the country’s engagement with the global aerospace community. The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by Medardo G. Macaraig, Ambassador of the Philippines to Singapore, at Hall C-F91 of the Changi Exhibition Centre.

The Philippine Pavilion aims to showcase the country’s strengths in aviation, tourism, and infrastructure, underscoring aviation’s role as a catalyst for national development. Under the theme “Love the Philippines – Together We Fly,” the pavilion highlights strong public-private collaboration driving enhanced air connectivity, world-class infrastructure development, and expanding aerospace capabilities.

Anchored by the Department of Tourism Philippines in partnership with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, the Philippines signalled its readiness to scale up airport modernisation, expand maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, grow airline operations, and deepen global partnerships. These efforts position the country as an emerging hub for regional connectivity and inclusive economic progress.

He highlighted the importance of cooperation in strengthening long-term connectivity and resilience in the aviation sector.

The Philippine Pavilion remains open until 6 February 2026, offering business-to-business engagements with representatives from government agencies and private sector stakeholders, including the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center Singapore, among others. The participation underscores the Philippines’ commitment to deepening aviation-led economic diplomacy and strengthening ties with regional and global partners.
