Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah earlier today. The visit formed part of his official activities and reflected continued engagement with key religious institutions in the Kingdom.

Upon arrival, the Crown Prince was received by Sheikh Dr Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, alongside Tawfig Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah. He was also welcomed by a number of the mosque’s imams and preachers.

The Crown Prince was accompanied by several senior officials, including Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region; and Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region.

Also present were Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, along with other officials. Observers noted that such visits underscore the institutional importance placed on religious sites, while residents and worshippers regard them as affirmations of the Kingdom’s continued attention to the Two Holy Mosques and their administration.
