Philippine Embassy engagement at Lucky Plaza highlights community solidarity and support for Filipino businesses.
The Ambassador of the Philippines to Singapore, H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig, recently visited Lucky Plaza together with Embassy personnel to engage members of the Filipino community and show support for Filipino-owned eateries. The visit coincided with the conclusion of February activities centred on unity, solidarity, and community spirit.

The engagement took place at Lucky Plaza, a well-known gathering spot for Filipinos in Singapore. During the visit, Embassy officials patronised several Filipino food establishments, recognising their role in preserving cultural ties and providing a sense of home for overseas Filipinos.

The visit served as an acknowledgment of Filipino-owned businesses and the strong community support extended to local enterprises. The Embassy underscored the importance of fostering solidarity and the spirit of bayanihan, noting that mutual support strengthens the Filipino community abroad.
The occasion also functioned as an informal outreach initiative aimed at reinforcing people-to-people ties and encouraging continued engagement between the Embassy and the Filipino diaspora in Singapore. The gathering reflected a shared commitment to promoting unity, cultural identity, and economic participation within the community.
The Embassy expressed its appreciation to Filipinos in Singapore for their resilience and contributions, and conveyed its intention to continue supporting community-led initiatives in the months ahead.
