The High Commissioner of India to Singapore, Dr. Shilpak Ambule, convened a discussion on the Seva Sankalp Resolution with officials at the High Commission of India in Singapore, marking the first meeting of the Union Cabinet at ‘Seva Teerth’. The engagement focused on reaffirming commitments to citizen-centric governance in alignment with India’s long-term development vision.

The internal meeting was held at the High Commission and brought together officials to reflect on the significance of the Union Cabinet’s inaugural session at ‘Seva Teerth’. The discussion underscored the principles of service, accountability, and empathy in public administration.

The discussion is to reiterated the importance of strengthening governance frameworks that are transparent, responsive, and oriented toward public welfare. The Seva Sankalp Resolution was referenced as a guiding framework to transform public service institutions into models of accountable and citizen-focused governance.

The High Commissioner and officials reaffirmed their shared commitment to contributing to the broader national objective of achieving Viksit Bharat 2047, which envisions India as a developed nation by 2047. The discussion emphasised the role of institutions, including overseas missions, in supporting India’s developmental aspirations through efficient service delivery and strengthened public engagement.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the principles outlined in the Seva Sankalp Resolution and to continue aligning institutional efforts with India’s governance and development priorities in the lead-up to 2047.
