New tool enabled users to create designs, prototypes, and presentations using AI collaboration.
Anthropic announced the launch of Claude Design, a new product from Anthropic Labs that allowed users to collaborate with AI to create polished visual content. The tool was introduced in research preview and made available to subscribers of Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
Powered by the advanced vision model Claude Opus 4.7, Claude Design enabled users to produce a wide range of visual outputs, including prototypes, slides, one-pagers, and marketing materials. The rollout was carried out gradually, giving users access throughout the day.
The platform aimed to simplify the design process for both professionals and non-designers. Users could describe their ideas in text, and Claude would generate an initial design, which could then be refined through conversation, inline comments, or direct edits. Custom sliders created by the AI also allowed users to adjust layout, spacing, and visual elements.
Claude Design supported multiple use cases across teams. Designers used it to create interactive prototypes and explore different design directions, while product managers developed wireframes and feature flows. Founders and marketers created pitch decks, presentations, and campaign visuals, with options to export files to formats such as PPTX, PDF, or integrate with tools like Canva.

The tool also introduced features to maintain brand consistency. During onboarding, Claude built a design system by analysing a team’s codebase and design files, ensuring that future projects automatically followed company styles such as colours, typography, and components.
Collaboration was a key focus, with organisation-level sharing options that allowed teams to view, edit, and work together on designs in real time. Once designs were finalised, users could hand them off to development through integration with Claude Code.
Anthropic stated that further integrations would be introduced in the coming weeks, allowing Claude Design to connect with more tools used by teams. The launch highlighted the growing role of AI in streamlining creative workflows and enabling faster, more accessible design processes.
