The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore participated in a farewell ceremony for Singaporean pilgrims departing for the Hajj pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore announced that His Excellency Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Singapore, participated in a farewell ceremony for Singaporean pilgrims departing for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via Changi Airport.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs of Singapore and Head of the Singapore Hajj Mission, and Muhammad Saad Abdul Rahman, President of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).

During the event, His Excellency Muhammad Al-Ghamdi conveyed his best wishes to the pilgrims for a safe and smooth spiritual journey, an accepted Hajj pilgrimage, and continued success.

The farewell ceremony reflected the close cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Singapore in supporting the annual Hajj pilgrimage for Singaporean Muslims.
