The programme formed part of ongoing cultural outreach efforts aimed at strengthening people-to-people exchanges between China and Singapore through traditional arts and tourism cooperation. Attendees experienced tea appreciation sessions, tourism presentations, cultural performances and hands-on demonstrations of Fujian intangible cultural heritage practices. The event also featured the introduction of three Fujian travel routes tailored for visitors from Singapore.

During the event, organisers highlighted Fujian’s historical links to tea culture and its role in preserving traditional craftsmanship and cultural practices. Through the presentations and exhibitions, guests were introduced to Fujian’s natural landscapes, cultural landmarks and tourism resources. The activities underscored the importance of cultural exchanges in enhancing mutual understanding and fostering closer ties between communities in both countries.

A Lin Huiyin-themed photo exhibition was also presented as part of the programme and will continue at the cultural centre until 30 May 2026. The exhibition offered visitors additional insights into Chinese cultural heritage and artistic traditions.
The event concluded with expectations for continued collaboration in cultural and tourism exchanges between China and Singapore. Organisers also encouraged visitors in Singapore to further explore Fujian’s cultural attractions and travel experiences through future engagement programmes and tourism initiatives.
