
Indonesia and Singapore are exploring stronger collaboration in renewable energy through investment and technology partnerships aimed at supporting sustainable industrial development.
The Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore announced a new step towards strengthening regional cooperation in renewable energy following a meeting between the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore and representatives from the Himpunan Kawasan Industri Indonesia, Tuas Power, and Shanghai Electric.
The discussion focused on opportunities to enhance cross-border collaboration in the renewable energy sector through sustainable investments and technology transfer initiatives. The meeting is seen as an important starting point in supporting Indonesia’s efforts to develop a greener, more efficient, and globally competitive industrial ecosystem.


Officials highlighted the importance of partnerships between governments and industry players in accelerating clean energy adoption and improving industrial sustainability across the region. The collaboration is also expected to encourage innovation, strengthen energy infrastructure, and support long-term economic growth through environmentally responsible development.
