The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Singapore opened a Book of Condolence on 3 July 2026 in memory of those who died in the earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 June 2026.

According to the Embassy, the initiative expresses condolences for the victims and solidarity with Venezuelans affected by the disaster. The Embassy said the gesture reflects the support shown by governments and peoples worldwide during times of hardship.

The Book of Condolence will remain open until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. It is available for representatives of the Government of Singapore, members of the diplomatic corps, the Venezuelan community, Singaporean friends, and the general public to pay their respects.
