The culinary festival is the result of a collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, and M Social Hotel Phuket, bringing authentic regional Thai flavours to Singapore through an immersive dining experience.

The festival features a specially curated menu created through an exclusive six-hands collaboration between MasterChef UK finalist Chef Nawamin “Boss” Pinpathomrat, Chef Witoon Kamonphun, Head Chef of M Social Hotel Phuket, and Executive Chef David Toh of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. Guests can enjoy signature dishes representing Thailand’s diverse culinary traditions, with specialties inspired by the country’s Northern, Central Plains, and Southern regions.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic community, including Mr. Thomas Ardian Siregar, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Indonesia, and Mr. Ismail Mohamad Bkri, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Malaysia.

In her remarks, Ambassador-Designate Waraphannee highlighted the important role of cuisine as a form of cultural diplomacy and soft power, emphasising how food fosters friendship and strengthens connections between people from different cultures.

Beyond its culinary offerings, the launch showcased Thailand’s rich cultural heritage through traditional performances, including classical Thai dance and a captivating Khim musical performance by the Anurak Thai Arts & Culture troupe. The evening concluded with a special lucky draw presented jointly by the Ambassador-Designate and Mr. Andrew Tan, General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

The Royal Thai Embassy has invited residents and visitors in Singapore to experience the Thailand Flavourscape Buffet 2026, which runs daily at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
