Travelling approximately 1,700 metres at an incline of up to 42 degrees—recognised as among the steepest cable car ascents in the world—the ride reaches elevations of around 650 metres above sea level, revealing increasingly stunning views of Langkawi’s coastline, forests and surrounding islands.
Visitors may choose to stop at the Middle Station, situated along the mountain’s eastern ridges. Here, viewing platforms offer sweeping vistas across the island and neighbouring islets, while the dramatic eastern cliffs and distinctive vertical rock formations provide an impressive glimpse into Langkawi’s ancient geological landscape.
Continuing to the Top Station, guests arrive near the summit of Mount Mat Cincang. A short climb leads to two viewing platforms positioned approximately 708 metres above sea level, where uninterrupted 360-degree views stretch across Langkawi, the Andaman Sea and, on clear days, even neighbouring Thailand.
The Top Station also serves as the gateway to the iconic Langkawi Sky Bridge, an architectural marvel renowned for its graceful curved design and impressive engineering. Spanning approximately 125 metres and supported by a single 82-metre pylon, the pedestrian bridge appears to float above the rainforest canopy, offering visitors a remarkable perspective of the surrounding mountains, valleys and coastline.
