The meeting explored Semilab’s activities in Singapore and its perspectives on the semiconductor industry.
Dr. Imola Anett Szabo, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Hungary in Singapore, met Mr. Nicolas Laurent, Semilab’s Singapore-based representative, to discuss the company’s activities in Singapore, as well as its experience and perspectives in the semiconductor industry.
Founded in Hungary in 1989, Semilab develops metrology, measurement and inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry and other advanced technology sectors. The company maintains a direct presence in Singapore through its local office.
The Embassy highlighted the growing economic and strategic importance of semiconductors and welcomed the contribution of Hungarian technological expertise and innovation to Singapore’s semiconductor ecosystem. The meeting concluded with the Embassy thanking Laurent for the discussion and looking forward to further dialogue with Semilab.
