A key highlight was the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SMF and Maybank, witnessed by Dato’ Onn Hafiz. The partnership aims to support SMF’s network of more than 5,000 local and multinational manufacturers through customised financing solutions, capacity-building initiatives, and access to Maybank’s RM22 billion financing and investment pipeline for JS-SEZ opportunities.

As the Programme Manager for the JS-SEZ, SMF said it would continue gathering industry feedback and supporting Singapore manufacturers seeking to expand into ASEAN through the JS-SEZ.
