Hungary’s Deputy Head of Mission Dr Imola Anett Szabó visited Thakral Brothers, highlighting a business relationship dating back to 1997.
Dr Imola Anett Szabó, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore, met with the Thakral family and the team at Thakral Brothers to learn more about one of the longstanding business partnerships between Hungary and Singapore.
Since 1997, the Thakral Group’s ownership of Orion Electronics has linked Singaporean entrepreneurship with Hungary’s industrial heritage. Orion, whose roots date back to 1913, continued to serve international markets.
The visit also highlighted the people and long-term relationships behind the partnership, with the Embassy thanking the Thakral family and team for their hospitality and expressing interest in continuing the dialogue.
