The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore hosted the “Reset Your Minds, Energize Your Lives” mindful workshop on 6 September 2026 to promote mental health, morale and positive energy within the Thai community in Singapore. The activity was held at the Royal Thai Embassy under the 2026 Thai Community Mental Health Promotion Project, providing participants with practical guidance on maintaining a positive mindset and achieving work-life balance.

The Embassy invited Mrs. Nattaya Patanavanichanan, Director of the Mental Health Regional Center 8, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, as the distinguished speaker and expert for the workshop. She was accompanied by an advisory team led by Mr. Chatri Archjananun, Former Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands.

The workshop focused on cultivating positive energy and encouragement, while providing a safe space for members of the Thai community to exchange experiences and support one another. Participants were also offered practical guidance on resetting their mindset based on the experience and expertise of the invited speakers.

The event featured discussions and activities centred on mental wellbeing, positivity, happiness and work-life balance. The atmosphere throughout the workshop was described as warm and friendly, with participants engaging with one another and sharing positive energy and laughter.

The activity was organised as part of the Department of Consular Affairs’ “5H (Health & Heart)” strategy, which focuses on supporting both physical and mental wellbeing through activities and community relations. The strategy seeks to foster unity within communities and ensure that no one feels left behind.

The initiative also reflected the Department of Consular Affairs’ motto, “Consular Diplomacy for the People, Caring for You Everywhere,” by placing attention on the wellbeing and needs of the Thai community overseas.
