Kuwait’s Ambassador to Singapore joined the Embassy of Saudi Arabia’s reception marking the 96th anniversary of the Kingdom’s National Day.
H.E. Sheikh Jaber Daej Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Singapore, participated in a reception held by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Singapore on the evening of Tuesday, 22 September 2026, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador Sheikh Jaber expressed his happiness on the occasion, extending his sincere congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government and people, and wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
The reception forms part of the National Day celebrations hosted by Gulf Cooperation Council missions in Singapore, reflecting the close ties shared among Gulf states represented in the city-state.
Kuwait’s participation in the celebration underscores the warm relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, often described as sister nations within the Gulf Cooperation Council, extending this solidarity to their respective diplomatic missions in Singapore.
Such receptions provide an important occasion for the diplomatic community in Singapore to come together and reaffirm bonds of friendship among missions, particularly between neighbouring Gulf states.
