Seven British companies engage Singapore and Indonesian stakeholders on data centre infrastructure.
The UK Data Centre Trade Mission is taking place in Singapore and Batam, Indonesia, from 28 September to 1 October 2026, with seven British companies engaging stakeholders on data centre infrastructure, energy, sustainability and artificial intelligence. The mission is being presented by the British High Commission Singapore and the British Embassy Jakarta to connect UK companies with stakeholders in Singapore and Batam.
The four-day mission is organised by the UK Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade and includes CSH HVAC Services, Ethicronics, Infiniflux, Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES), LUX Industries, OctaiPipe and RE24. The participating companies cover areas including liquid cooling, trusted AI infrastructure, energy efficiency, data centre optimisation and clean-energy procurement.
The mission is intended to provide the participating companies with opportunities to exchange expertise, develop business relationships and explore commercial opportunities. The UK Government has identified Singapore as an established data centre hub and Batam as an emerging destination for digital infrastructure investment.
During the Singapore leg, RE24 reported discussions on Singapore’s data centre growth, sustainability, energy and the wider Southeast Asian market. The UK company also reported a visit to Equinix SG3 and presentations from CapitaLand, Indonesia’s NeutraDC and Singapore-based Nxera.
NeutraDC provides a direct Indonesian industry connection to the mission. It is the data centre business of PT Telkom Data Ekosistem, a Telkom Indonesia subsidiary, and its operations include Singapore facilities and the NeutraDC Nxera Batam development in Batam.
Mr. Martin Kent, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner to Asia Pacific, said demand for digital infrastructure in Southeast Asia was increasing due to cloud services, artificial intelligence and digitalisation. “The UK Data Centre Mission brings together seven innovative UK companies from across the data centre lifecycle,” he said.
The mission will continue with engagements in Batam through 1 October, providing participating UK companies with further opportunities to engage stakeholders in Indonesia’s data centre sector.
