H.E. Sheikh Jaber Duaij Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Ambassador of Kuwait to Singapore, met with KAOUN International’s Southeast Asia General Manager to explore closer cooperation in technology, innovation and artificial intelligence.
H.E. Sheikh Jaber Duaij Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Singapore, received Mr. Chris McQueen, General Manager of the Southeast Asia Region at KAOUN International, during a meeting held in Singapore. KAOUN International is the international arm of the Dubai World Trade Centre and organiser of the GITEX AI Asia exhibition held in Singapore.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in technology, innovation and artificial intelligence between Kuwait and the organisations represented through KAOUN International’s platforms. Discussions also covered opportunities for Kuwaiti entities and companies to participate more actively in exhibitions and technology events organised by KAOUN International, as well as ways to make use of the international platforms available for connecting companies, investors and global markets.
Both sides also addressed the broader importance of expanding cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Singapore in the technology and digital economy sectors. The discussion explored further opportunities to support communication and collaboration between companies and relevant institutions in both countries.
The meeting reflects Kuwait’s continued interest in Singapore’s position as a regional hub for technology and innovation, with events such as GITEX AI Asia offering a platform for deeper engagement between Kuwaiti businesses and the wider international technology ecosystem represented in Singapore.
