H.E. Artis Bērtulis, Ambassador of the European Union to Singapore, met with Mr. Lennon Tan, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), to discuss future industrial cooperation between Singapore and the European Union. The discussions focused on coordinating joint efforts, particularly ahead of Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2027.
During the meeting, both sides explored opportunities to advance cooperation in the manufacturing sector as part of the ongoing economic partnership between Singapore and the EU. Ambassador Bērtulis described the exchange as important and thoughtful, highlighting the role of industrial cooperation in the economic relationship between the two partners.
