Seminar highlights Beijing investment opportunities in digital economy, aerospace, biomedicine and green industries.
The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and the Beijing Municipal Investment Promotion Service Bureau co-organised the Investment Beijing Business Networking and Investment Seminar on 27 October 2026, providing Singapore companies with insights into Beijing’s investment landscape, industry priorities and business opportunities. The event facilitated discussions on potential investment, technology cooperation, market expansion and business partnerships between Singapore and Beijing.

The seminar brought together representatives from companies operating in key sectors, including technology innovation, advanced manufacturing and professional services. Representatives of the Beijing delegation introduced the city’s economic development landscape, highlighting available investment opportunities, industry priorities and government support policies.

Four key sectors were highlighted during the presentation: the digital economy, commercial aerospace, biomedicine, and green and low-carbon industries. These sectors were presented as areas of development and potential investment for Singapore businesses seeking to explore opportunities in Beijing.
The discussions also provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about Beijing’s business environment and identify potential areas of cooperation. Singapore companies were able to explore prospects for investment, technology collaboration, access to new markets and partnerships with businesses in Beijing.
The seminar reflected ongoing business engagement between Singapore and China, particularly in facilitating connections between companies and introducing investment opportunities in emerging and established industries.
Through the networking session, participating businesses gained insights into Beijing’s economic priorities and potential avenues for commercial engagement. The event also provided a platform for representatives from both sides to exchange information and explore possible business connections in technology innovation, manufacturing, professional services and other growth sectors.
