The High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore hosted a media conference to discuss the upcoming Malaysia Fest 2024, which will showcase food, fashion, beauty, and travel from 25-28 July 2024.

SINGAPORE, 9 July 2024 – A media conference was held at the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore to discuss the details of the upcoming Malaysia Fest 2024. The event, organized by MegaXpress International Pte Ltd and supported by the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), aims to promote Malaysian culture and industries, including food, fashion, beauty, and travel.

The panel of speakers included His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore; Mr. Haji Aminuddin Bin Zulkipli, Chairman of FAMA, Malaysia; and Mr. Hamzah Hj Abdullah, Managing Director of MegaXpress International Pte Ltd. After the conference, a Q&A session was held followed by refreshments.

Malaysia Fest 2024 will be held from 25-28 July 2024 at Singapore EXPO Halls 5A and 5B, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. The event is free to the public and will feature 302 booths showcasing various aspects of Malaysian culture and commerce. Special highlights include a focus on Malaysian states such as Selangor, Johor Bahru, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Terengganu, Perlis, and the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER). The festival will also feature cooking demonstrations, interactive talks, competitions, and performances by top icons from Malaysia.

In collaboration with PayNet, the festival will promote a cashless payment initiative, “Cashless Lah Boss,” and offer lucky draw prizes for visitors and exhibitors. The festival is in aid of Al-Amin Mosque and will be graced by the Guest-of-Honour, Yang Berhormat Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Malaysia.
