
The High Commission of India in Singapore hosted events celebrating International Women’s Day 2025, highlighting cultural heritage and women’s empowerment
The High Commission of India in Singapore and Bank of Baroda commemorated International Women’s Day 2025 with events that celebrated women’s achievements and cultural heritage. The Deputy High Commissioner of India participated in an event organised by Bank of Baroda, Singapore, which highlighted the role of women in the financial sector.
Meanwhile, the High Commission of India in Singapore hosted a workshop on Kalamkari, a traditional Indian art form, to celebrate the occasion. The workshop aimed to promote cultural appreciation and empower women through artistic expression, drawing participation from local and expatriate communities.


Both events reinforced the importance of gender equality and cultural exchange, strengthening ties between India and Singapore while recognising the achievements of women in different spheres.
