Exploring the Power of Art as a Universal Language to Foster Inclusion and Connection

SINGAPORE, 27–30 March 2025 – The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is set to launch its inaugural Access Showcase, a four-day celebration of diversity and inclusivity that underscores art’s role in breaking social barriers. Taking place at SAM, 39 Tanjong Pagar Distripark, the event will explore how art serves as a language of care, empowerment, and shared experience.

Organised by the SAM Access team, this year’s theme, ‘Common Languages’, highlights the many ways individuals communicate and connect, regardless of ability. Visitors can engage in thought-provoking talks, interactive workshops, immersive performances, and a hands-on hackathon designed to spark fresh perspectives on art accessibility and participation.

SAM’s Access Showcase aims to create a more inclusive art landscape, encouraging diverse audiences to experience and contribute to the arts in meaningful ways. Admission is free, with some programmes requiring registration.
