The Singapore Mint has unveiled a special SG60 commemorative collection, featuring medallions, bookmarks, and collectible blind boxes celebrating Singapore’s heritage and icons.

As part of Singapore’s SG60 celebrations, the Singapore Mint is launching a collection that showcases Singapore’s heritage districts and iconic symbols. The collection will be released in phases throughout 2025 and will be available online and at Singapore Mint stores at Coin Gallery, Chinatown Point, and Suntec City Mall.

The collection will also be featured at the Singapore International Coin Fair, taking place from March 21 to 23, 2025, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Heritage Districts Medallions and Bookmarks

The “Jalan Jalan Through Heritage Districts of Singapore” collection will feature five silver medallions and gold-plated coloured bookmarks representing the following heritage districts:

  • Changi
  • Jurong
  • Tiong Bahru
  • Toa Payoh
  • Queenstown

Each 1 oz 999 fine silver medallion is limited to 2,000 pieces per design and will be priced at S$130 each. The gold-plated coloured bookmarks will retail for S$15 each.

The first four district designs (Changi, Jurong, Tiong Bahru, and Toa Payoh) will be available in March 2025, while the Queenstown edition will be released in September 2025.

Dazzling Merlion Medallion

Collectors can also look forward to the Dazzling Merlion 1 oz 999 silver proof ingot, featuring a multifaceted Merlion design with an exclusive “SG60” serial prefix. Only 1,000 pieces will be available at S$130 each.

Mr Merlion Mystery Medallion Blind Box

In partnership with Raffles Mint Collectibles, the Singapore Mint is launching the Mr Merlion Mystery Medallion Blind Box. Each box, priced at S$16.90, will contain a surprise medallion that also functions as a keychain.

The blind box medallions come in three rarity tiers:

  • Four regular silver designs
  • Two rare rose gold designs
  • One ultra-rare 24k gold-plated design

The blind boxes will be available starting April 2025.

Kebaya Magnet Display Set

To honour Singapore’s first multinational UNESCO inscription, “Kebaya: Knowledge, Skills, Traditions, and Practices,” the Singapore Mint is releasing a seven-piece Kebaya magnet display set. The set features seven distinct Kebaya styles with interchangeable blouses and skirts.

Each set will be available for S$80 from May 2025.
