Singapore’s Senior Minister of State Sim Ann joins international leaders at FFD4 in Seville to strengthen global cooperation on sustainable development financing.
Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Sim Ann is attending the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Seville from 30 June to 3 July 2025.

Held under the theme “Financing our Future”, the FFD4 brings together high-level representatives from governments, international organisations, financial institutions, and the private sector to discuss strategies for mobilising financial resources to advance global development. A key outcome of the Conference will be the adoption of the “Compromiso de Sevilla”, which will serve as a renewed global financing for development framework. This will support global efforts to advance implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
SMS Sim will deliver Singapore’s national statement and contribute to two high-level roundtables sessions: “Mobilising and aligning domestic public resources” and “Upholding the multilateral trading system, and harnessing the potential of science, technology and innovation”. She will also participate in the International Business Forum held alongside the main conference, and hold bilateral meetings with counterparts on the sidelines.
SMS Sim is accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
