
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador visits ST Engineering Land Systems to discuss joint armoured vehicle production and future defence partnerships
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Singapore, H.E. Mr Askar Kuttykadam, paid an official visit to the production facility of ST Engineering Land Systems, where he was received by Mr Kok Ann Lim, President of the company. The meeting aimed to further strengthen defence cooperation between Kazakhstan and Singapore.

During the visit, both sides reviewed the progress of an ongoing collaborative project to localise the production of multi-purpose armoured vehicles in Kazakhstan. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing defence capabilities through industrial cooperation.
The discussions also touched on broader prospects for technology transfer, joint manufacturing, and enhanced strategic collaboration in defence innovation. The partnership highlights the mutual interest in leveraging each country’s industrial strengths to support regional security and economic growth.
This engagement marks a significant step in deepening bilateral ties, particularly in the defence manufacturing sector, and reflects Kazakhstan’s and Singapore’s growing alignment in strategic and technological initiatives.
