
A flotilla from the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet engages Singaporean scholars and experts to strengthen maritime ties and discuss regional maritime security.
SINGAPORE, July 2025 — Four Indian Naval Ships — INS Delhi, INS Shakti, INS Satpura and INS Kiltan — from the Eastern Fleet are on a goodwill visit to Singapore, highlighting growing defence and strategic cooperation between India and Singapore.


During the port call, Singaporean scholars and strategic affairs experts were welcomed aboard INS Delhi, where they engaged in wide-ranging discussions with Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, Flag Officer Commanding the Eastern Fleet. The dialogue covered key topics including regional maritime security, strategic cooperation, and the evolving dynamics of the Indo-Pacific.
The visit underscores the Indian Navy’s commitment to fostering strong maritime partnerships in the region and contributing to a stable and secure Indo-Pacific. Such exchanges also reaffirm the close defence relationship and shared strategic interests between India and Singapore.
