New Delhi, 2026 — A delegation led by Mr Ravi Menon, Ambassador for Climate Action at Singapore’s National Climate Change Secretariat, met with Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary of India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), in New Delhi to strengthen bilateral cooperation in renewable energy and sustainable development.

The discussions focused on expanding India–Singapore collaboration in key clean energy sectors, including green hydrogen and ammonia supply chains, green shipping corridors, and domestic manufacturing supported by stable policy frameworks.

Both sides also explored opportunities in battery storage technologies aimed at enhancing grid stability, as well as the development of carbon markets and mechanisms for generating and trading carbon credits linked to green hydrogen adoption.

The meeting reflected the growing commitment of both countries towards accelerating energy transition efforts and supporting future-ready sustainable solutions.
