Waves Bazaar at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) 2025 was inaugurated at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, in the esteemed presence of Dr Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore. He was joined by Mr Abhay Sinha, Director General of the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), and Mr Balaji Mani Khumaran, Deputy General Manager of the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), alongside other distinguished guests. Their attendance underscored India’s strong commitment to advancing its creative industries on the world stage.

The High Commissioner officially opened the India Pavilion, marking a significant moment for India’s participation in one of Asia’s premier content markets. The pavilion, designed as an engaging and interactive space, aims to position India as a key contributor to the global television and digital content ecosystem. This year’s theme, presented through the Waves Bazaar, reflects India’s vibrant storytelling culture and its readiness to collaborate with international partners.

Waves Bazaar served as a dynamic showcase of India’s creativity, featuring a diverse collection of ideas, innovations, and content offerings from across the country’s media landscape. The platform highlighted emerging trends and opportunities while providing industry players with avenues to explore co-productions, partnerships, and cross-border exchanges. Exhibitors represented a wide range of sectors, including television, OTT platforms, animation, documentaries, and regional content.

The participation of senior stakeholders from SEPC and NFDC further reinforced India’s strategic efforts to boost its global footprint in content export.
